Mozilla has been forced to issue an update to its Firefox browser, just a week after the last update.
Firefox users were yesterday prompted to download version 1.5.0.6 of the increasingly popular browser, because a bug in last week’s 1.5.05 version meant that users had trouble streaming video via Windows Media Player.
The tweaks follow the recent beta launch of Mozilla’s Firefox 2.0 browser. Firefox 2.0 includes phishing protection, the ability to re-open tabs and better RSS support.
The software is only recommended for use by developers and testers, and can be downloaded from the Mozilla Developer Centre.
