Computer 2000 has appointed a general manager for its corporate sales team with the aim of increasing orders taken electronically.
The appointment comes shortly after C2000 insisted that resellers will not be able to negotiate a cheaper price through its sales team than they can buy from the Web for commodity items. Online orders account for 10 per cent of C2000's turnover.
Russell Blackburn has been appointed as general manager for the corporate sales team. He was previously UK dealer and regional sales manager at Apple UK. Previously he was Apple sales manager at C2000.
