CA has added to its ARCserve range, promising to boost protection, recovery and availability tools for enterprise applications, systems and data.
The additions include ARCserve r15, ARCserve Backup, ARCserve Replication, ARCserve High Availability and ARCserve D2D, which is designed to help firms manage business changes.
"Our customers need to leverage new technologies and solutions to make IT more effective in meeting today's demanding business requirements," said Adam Famularo, senior vice president and general manager of CA's Recovery Management and Data Modelling business unit.
"With the ARCserve family of products, we continue to deliver enhanced data protection and availability products to help them achieve these goals."
The r15 systems are designed to manage remote offices and systems and their regulatory requirements, as well as technology transformation and the deployment of new apps such as Microsoft SharePoint or server virtualisation tools.
ARCserve Replication promises to boost data protection and offers smooth migration between the datacentre and remote offices, CA said, ensuring the protection and recovery of applications, files, emails or databases.
ARCserve supports more than 20 applications and platforms, including Windows, Unix, Linux and NetWare.
