Google has issued updates for the current stable release and the latest beta version of its Chrome web browser.
The company said that the update for the Windows, Linux and Mac OS X versions of Chrome 5 include a new version of the browser's Flash components.
The US Computer Emergency Response Team reported that the update also includes fixes for remote code execution vulnerabilities.
Google has also tied security fixes into the latest beta version of Chrome 6, adding auto-fill features while protecting data from possible attack from malicious web sites.
"For your security, any personal information stored in Chrome is safely stored and kept private until a user chooses to share the information with a web site," wrote Google software engineer James Hawkins in a blog post.
"Additionally, your credit card information is never saved without first asking you explicitly."
The update adds to a busy week of patch deployment for administrators. Microsoft posted its monthly security release on Tuesday, followed by a security update from Adobe for its Flash player and a release from Apple to address flaws in the iOS platform.
