Palm has launched an App Catalogue in Europe with paid-for applications. The site will allow Palm Pre users to buy and download web-based apps from the Palm catalogue.
The company will provide a software update to its European customers this evening to provide access to the new site.
Palm has been working in conjunction with several global developer communities to design paid-for apps that can be bought on its new European service.
The partnerships will focus on developing content in local languages, including English, German, Spanish and French.
The developer communities should already have apps ready to roll this evening, and Palm believes that customers will see hundreds of new apps in the next few weeks.
The number will increase as more Palm developers make their applications available to most markets.
Palm already has some major games for the Pre, including Real Football 2010, Guitar Hero 5, Tweed and Rockus Animals.
