Google dominated the headlines this week for V3.co.uk readers. Most popular was our rundown of the search firm's first 10 years, followed by the Pacman game that seems to have been bad for worker productivity, and a new encrypted search service.

Readers were also keen to learn that the iPad had arrived a day early for some UK buyers, and that Samsung's Wave smartphone is finally in the shops.

Our review of the HTC Desire was popular, as was the news of a dodgy HTC Hero Android update, a click-jacking Facebook worm, a Virgin Media email outage, and the latest on Gary McKinnon's extradition.
