Most popular with V3.co.uk readers this week has been our rundown of the top 10 technology movie clichés. More than a few movies have been ruined for the V3 team by an absurd portrayal of what computers can supposedly do, and by the debate this article has generated it’s clear our readers agree.
The Stuxnet worm also continued to dominate the security landscape with news that it could have been an inside job. Security experts revealed the worm could have been written by someone with detailed knowledge of Siemens' computer systems, possibly a current or former employee.
Elsewhere, Oracle gave the cold shoulder to the OpenOffice community when it sent the newly formed, independent Document Foundation on its way with best wishes, and no likelihood of the enterprise technology giant joining the group or giving up the OpenOffice brand.
