BBC Weather is basically a well designed front end for content from the BBC's website, bringing local forecasts for all parts of the UK and other major cities across the globe, all within an elegant and easy-to-use interface.

UK users get location-based forecast including hour-by-hour details for the first 48 hours, then three-hourly details for the following three days as well as more detailed information such as daily pollen and pollution readings.

You can use the settings button to easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as mph and km/h.

Android users benefit from additional features over the iOS version including a home-screen widget offering the five-day forecast.
