Lightweight BitTorrent client
Review Rating:
Type: Free for personal use only
Platform: Android
Manufacturer: uTorrent
Price: Free
uTorrent is a powerful and efficient BitTorrent client that ships with most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients, all within a very small package.
The application enables you to search for torrents or browse artist-sponsored content, directly from your software interface and manage files in the torrent manager.
Right-clicking a file in the main window brings up controls for maximum upload and download speeds for each file, along with estimated seeding times and upload-to-download ratios.
You can also highlight a torrent and choose from a selection of tabs for current speeds, information on individual files, peer stats, time elapsed, estimated remaining time, and a visual tool to track the availability of the file you're using.
Using the main settings folder offers global bandwidth control and the ability to randomise port selection on every start and the built-in scheduler can control bandwidth across different times of day.
Note that this is the Android version of uTorrent.
