Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation 1.0.1 for Android

This title, from Gameloft, weighs in at over 1GB, but all that size is represented on the screen.

It is a delight to play, as delightful as first person shooters can be, and looks great. It moves fluidly and the details in the graphics are stunning.

Of course it is not the full FPS experience that you are used to, particularly if you play the titles on PCs or consoles, but it does make other mobile games look like the cartoons that they really are.

There are thirteen campaign missions that take you and your guns across the globe, and various types of gameplay, so that while in one level you might be on the ground, in another you could be in a helicopter.

It’s price, little under a fiver, might seem high, but it is worth every penny.
