Useful OS map tool for ramblers and cyclists
Rambling may not seem the most glamorous of occupations, but the advent of smartphones has made it slightly easier, if not more appealing.
GPS has made it easier to know where you are, and map where you have been and now the Ordnance survey has stepped in to show you where you are going. Because it is from the OS the app gives high quality maps, scales 1:125000(roadmap),1:50000(Landranger), 1:25000(Explorer) and 1:10000 (Streetmap), and can provide you with a good view of paths and rights of way.
The app can also be used by cyclists, and, indeed, anyone that needs to go anywhere.
