Useful tool for identifying songs, quickly and with no adds
The Shazam service is not new, its Android app is though and its rather good.
As well as recognising random songs the application can also accurately tag your existing content and make sense of a confused collection of tracks. Songs can be paused and rewound, found on sharing sites like Youtube, and even bought. Other information, such as where the artist might next be playing live is also useful.
It is paid for, and at just under £3 it is above casual download prices, but music fans, or fans of discovering new music will find it a worthy investment.
