Verdict

The web-based Hotmail experience is rather well mirrored, and the phone app lets you view any folders you might have, send photos direct from your phone, view and send attachments, and use multiple email accounts.

Microsoft has updated its Hotmail email service for smartphone users, adding new features and quicker access to messages and contacts.

Hotmail has been a popular email service for years, and its Android application is a decent release that should please its legions of users. The software was updated earlier this month and improves push email, meaning that messages are sent to your Android phone as soon as you receive them, as well as synced contacts and calendar information.
