Simple tool which will enable you to view and give basic control over a remote computer. Ideal when you're on the road and need access to your work PC.
Remote access to a PC from a mobile phone would have seemed like a crazy dream just a couple of years ago. Now though it is a reality and the VNC viewer is one of the best versions out there.
Ideal for IT support staff, but useful for anyone that typically works on two computers - such as one at home and one in the office, it makes controlling a remote machine remarkably simple.
As well as carrying out simple tasks, like changing settings, the VNC viewer also lets you run applications and access data as easily as if it was that computer you were sitting in front of.
The application works with a range of operating systems, including the more obvious Windows, Linux, or UNIX computer - that runs compatible technology.
For the real hardcore user RealVNC recommends its Enterprise Edition.
