An ever increasing array of applications on a smartphone may increase productivity but it can also have a negative impact on battery power.

The Green Power battery saver, like its competitors, offers a way to cut down on power use. But unlike its cheaper, or free, peers, it runs very smoothly, installs easily and noticeably increases battery life.

With some phones having very bad battery life, and an increased amount of time spent away from the office and its electrical power points it is applications like these that may become some of the most important in the businessman's arsenal.
