Verdict

Chat client for your Android that enables you to communicate with users from other (chat) platforms.

Review Rating: rating

Type: Free for personal use only

Platform: Android

Manufacturer: eBuddy

Size: 1.8MB

Price: Free

The eBuddy chat application does much as you would expect. It unites users of a range of software, including Yahoo, MSN, Facebook, AIM, ICQ and the Google Gtalk service.

We found that it worked well, and saved a lot of time that would normally be spent switching between its covered applications.

The application was recently updated to version 2.0, which the developers described as a major new version.

Chats and discussions are sent as data over the internet, as opposed to an SMS or text message, which means that talks are relatively free, while the app also has nice features such as the ability to set up your own avatar and send and use avatars.

Ebuddy works best on Android devices running version 2.2 and higher.
