A good screen grabbing utility should for fulfil certain criteria. Firstly, it should be easy-to-use, even for a novice and provide a number of editing options to get the right grab. Nevertheless, the application should remain small enough to be accessed quickly and easily.
Unlike other screen grabbing applications, Shotty provides a number of other features that are useful when modifying taken screengrabs.
The application will take a grab and include aero glass frame transparency and shadows if you are running Windows Vista or above. It can also change Aero Glass colour automatically during the grabbing phase, enabling users to get consistent screenshots that do not depend on your systems visual settings.
You can modify images, too. Crop, unsharpen regions to make text unreadable, highlight text and of course add text to your screenshot.
Share your screenshot with others easily without saving your grab and uploading it using traditional methods. Shotty can upload your screenshot directly to the web, with a single click.
