Creative thinkers and regular note-takers would be well advised to download the Evernote application, as it acts as a virtual notebook that travels with you regardless of where you are and what devices you are using.

The application, which is available across a range of mobile devices including enterprise tablet of the month the iPad, is a memory bank for documents, memos, notes and scribbles that its developer brands as ‘One account. Many devices’.

Anyone that has used the online version will find the mobile alternative easy to use and understand as it faithfully mirrors the established experience. Viewing panes, though, are tweaked to fit the viewing screen, and the app makes the most of touch features for quick flicking through articles.
