Touch-typing is a useful skill to have, yet it is one that many of us never get around to learning.

Letter Chase Typing Tutor can be used both by those new to touch-typing and those who are looking to increase their typing speed.

An on-screen keyboard is displayed at all times and every key you press is highlighted to guide you through.

A variety of lessons are provided, with three levels to choose from: beginner, intermediate and advanced. The beginner's stage deals with aspects such as where to place your fingers, common punctuation, numbers and symbols.

The intermediate level focuses on letter combinations, easy phrases and short sentences, while the advanced level deals with phrases/clauses and easy, normal and hard sentences.

The eight lessons cover things such as the basic placing of the fingers to the use of the shift key.

Various games are included to aid the learning process, and two types of test let you discover how well you are doing so far. Choose between 10-line tests and timed tests.
