Surfing the internet can be an expensive pastime unless you have broadband access. For the majority of users, with a 56K modem, downloading an entire website for offline viewing is great.

WebZip lets you download entire websites or single pages as a zip file for browsing in your own time.

The program's options allow you to specify exactly which parts of a site are downloaded - which file types to download (images, sound etc), for example.

You can also specify how deep you wish to go (i.e. four pages or two sub-categories deep), and external links can also be kept.

This is a handy tool to have for text-rich sites that take time to read or for those times when you are researching something but don't want to spend hours online.
