Getting your PC optimised normally involves installing a host of specialist utilities, learning their individual quirks, and hoping they'll all work together. But there is a simpler way. Ashampoo WinOptimizer provides many of the most common PC cleanup and management functions in single, straightforward interface, making it much easier to keep your system running at peak performance.
The Cleaning Tools section includes a Registry Cleaner that creates backups just in case you delete something important. You can also wipe your Internet trail that builds when you surf the web.
The Tuning Tools section features an Internet Tuner, which tweaks your TCP/IP settings to improve online performance. There's a StartUp Tuner for controlling which programs are launched when Windows boots, an "IP Spam Blocker" and more. You can defragment your hard drive as well as tweaking third-party tools such as your web browser.
And if you really want an easy life, then schedule the "1-Click-Optimisation " feature to run every couple of weeks. It'll clean up your hard drive, Registry and Internet traces automatically, no further input required.
This brand new v8 release ships with a much improved user-interface.

Not so fast....
WinOptimizer is a problem. You will a get Ask tattoo overdose. Ask will take over your home page, and it will auto install a search bar which in spite of support help, is a real issue to get rid of. While the program itself is good, you will find way much extraneous nonsense to contend with. And as far as these so called great deals go with Ashampoo, you will sadly discover when you crash and must reload, the license numbers on file at their site no longer work. 360 Amigo and Glary ultilities as system care 4 are all for free and do the same thing but with out the bloat and ad ware.

Magical Snap
Ashampoo has many useful programs. Magical Snap is unique in all the things it can accomplish. You have to see it to believe it. Photo Commander is also an excellent editing program, as is Burning Studio. No question, there are many offers coming from them, but many include great pricing and special deals.

Ashampoo
Yeah--I advise using a "spam" bucket email address, but be sure to visit it occasionally as they do have some great offers. I purchased a boxed shrink wrap copy of Ashampoo Uninstaller many years ago. It's one of the few essential Windows programs that I own. Ashampoo sent me a free offer for for WinOptimizer soon after that. Though not essential, like Uninstaller, I have used it on occasion.

Great programme!
I have recently tried out this programme and was so impressed I bought it before the free trial had ended! I have seen complaints about Ashampoo "spam" on several forums (or is that "fora"?), and its true that once you register with them you get a lot of email offers; but I have taken up some of these offers and obtained real bargains of software, every one good! Take a look at their website and see for youself the quality software on offer.I have tried for years unsuccesfully to find a way to overcome the bootup problem of having to login every time; within 5mins of downloading Ashampoo PowerUP XP Platinum 2 a single click had fixed it! No I am not employed by Ashampoo, but credit where credit is due, they produce some great software at great prices! Try it!
