Whether you want a calendar, address book, notepad, to-do list or scheduler Almanac should fit the bill. Incorporating all of these into one small package, Almanac is ideal for the average user looking for a way of organising their information more efficiently.
The calendar includes all religious holidays, and can even fully emulate the Jewish calendar and track Yahrzeits, should this be your requirement. Unfortunately, there is a lack of UK-specific details, such as Bank Holidays etc.
The address book is competent enough, although the method chosen to display details is a little odd as it can only view one contact at a time. However, should you have the facility for making online phone calls, Almanac can be configured to allow auto dialling of numbers from within the address book.
Other features include the ability to track the phases of the moon, view current time in different world zones, set your schedule as desktop wallpaper for at-a-glance viewing of your current appointments, and add context-relevant notes to specific appointments.
Data can be imported into, and exported from, Almanac in the CSV (Comma Separated Value) format, as long as the data is appointment and/or phonebook related.
