Free Registry Defrag

After using your computer for a few months, once you have installed and removed software from your computer, entries are written to your Registry. During uninstallation, they should be removed from your Registry, but often aren’t. Your Registry expands and the larger it becomes, the longer Windows takes to process information. Your system takes longer to boot, programs take longer to launch and important file information needs to be processed if you want to open particular file formats.

One option would be to use a commercial Registry cleansing and defragmentation tool. However, some of these are not designed for novice end-users and, as most end-users do not bother to backup their Registry, before they run the cleansing tool, they then find that the cleansing causes more problems than they anticipated and they have problems booting their computer.

Free Registry Defrag is a one-button approach to Registry cleansing. It will analyse your Registry for potential problems and then will attempt to resolve and compact. This means that your Registry is leaner than before and files and applications can be found much more quickly.
