AnyDVD unscrambles DVDs on the fly, allowing you to watch any region DVD using any DVD player software.
The software comes with loads of other useful features too, such as the ability to remove CSS encryption and analogue copy protection from DVDs, which is great for backing up those valuable DVDs. It will also remove protection from Audio CDs.
AnyDVD seamlessly gets around prohibited functions, such as forced subtitles, and prevents the launch of any software that may be on your DVDs.
It works with all compatible operating systems, making it possible to share DVDs over a network, and copy DVDs using the command line or Windows Explorer.
The software claims to work with all DVDs and all DVD software, and doesn't require an ASPI driver.
Note that you are allowed to make one (1) single backup of a copyrighted audio or video DVD/CD for personal purposes only, as long as that backup is kept for your sole use and not rented or lent to a third party. CloneDVD should be used for creating backups of your DVDs.

Do you agree?
Matsushita Drives
I totally disagree, region free programs do work with systems using matsushita DVD drives, as I have used and works well.

I agree
as the comment above, these Matshita drives are also in HP laptops, and will not work with any region-free programme Also just a quick note about the article "It works with all compatible operating systems" . Really? i would never have guessed. So are you saying it doesn't work with incompatible operating systems? that's a shame.

I'm sure it's great but....
This program may well work astonishingly superbly with other DVD drives, but owners of Toshiba computers with Matshita DVD-R drives should note that this (nor any other region-free program, grrrrr) does NOT work to remove DVD region coding on these drives. It's a pity as this program looked really good - nice interface etc.
