Map Maker Gratis offers the ability to create flexible maps complete with powerful features, including thematic mapping and data interrogation. Both vector and raster data can be used for map creation, and finished maps can be printed in accurate scale.
Maps can contain an unlimited number of layers, with colour, mono or greyscale bitmap backgrounds. Numerous fill, line and symbol tool are available, ensuring an authentic looking final product.
A full range of dimension tools is available to ensure maps are to scale with items located in their correct position.
Links can be added to various map elements, launching a pop-up image, document or even web link.
Text can be added in curved, stretched or outline form, along with the standard format for variation in map types. The majority of visual elements can be altered to your liking, or made different for various projects, with colours, text style and so on being editable.
