One particular problem with Windows is that, if you want to make changes to your system, once you've installed software and configured external hard drives, Windows makes like more difficult than you'd expect.
If you want to partition your hard drive within Windows, only a small number of partitioning tools enable you to do this and only when the hard drive is not in use.
BootIt NG is a tool that enables you to create a bootable CD that you can use to boot in to a custom operating system (ie outside of Windows) and make changes to your system without affecting your Windows installation or work.
Better still, it works within every edition of Windows and will even enable you to extend or delete partitions created outside of Windows, such as a Linux partition.
If you want to install multiple operating systems on one computer (such as Windows and Linux), you can use BootIt NG to setup your system so that it can use one partition to multi-boot more than one operating system.
If you make mistakes, such as accidentally deleting a partition, BootIt will enable you to go back and undelete the partition.
