Office Mail is a POP/SMTP email server for small businesses/home networks with only one internet connection that require email access for all staff/PCs.
It works on all networks using the TCP/IP protocol, and it is necessary for each intended user to have their own email client installed.
It also lets staff send internal emails without the need for an internet connection.
Unlimited POP accounts can be added but, should you only have one, aliases can be used to distribute email to the appropriate user.
IP filtering is available to ensure that only valid IP addresses can use the mail server, thus stopping it being used as a bouncing station.
Mail sending/receiving can be done manually or configured to occur at set intervals if you prefer.
An antivirus feature prevents worms and viruses in attachments being activated by renaming suspect application files as non-application files. An email is also sent to the recipient to inform them of the possible virus.
Informative help files guide you through the entire set-up process and use a real-life situation as an example.
