There isn't much to distinguish FTP clients, particularly with regard to the way in which they operate, with the majority opting for a Windows Explorer-style interface.
Shuttle FTP Pro is no exception, displaying local folders in a left-hand panel and remote folders to the right.
Like most FTP programs there is full drag-and-drop support, a search facility for local and remote files, and the ability to resume broken downloads/uploads.
Whole trees can be deleted (even if not empty), which is a useful feature many shareware clients often omit.
Bonus features in this free client include being able to copy and move entire directories, and the ability to connect to multiple FTP servers simultaneously. All servers currently connected to are displayed at the bottom of the left-hand panel for quick switching between servers.
Shuttle FTP Pro is also available as part of the shareware Shuttle FTP Suite, offering support for multiple internet protocols: FTP, Telnet, Finger, Whois, DNS and Ping. (See website, above, for more details.)
