Don't Panic

This application will allow you to hide or close all the windows open on your desktop, and open 'panic' windows, by either clicking or rolling the mouse over a hotspot, or using a shortcut 'panic' key. It will also clear all the lists of visited websites, caches and cookies stored on your PC and disable pop-up windows on the internet.

Say you were working on an elaborate birthday card design for a colleague, in Photoshop, and the colleague strolls over, you can casually roll the mouse over the 'panic' area, or click your shortcut key, and instantly, the report you were writing, a spreadsheet or any other application you choose appears on the screen instead.

The program is fully configurable. So you can choose which applications stay open and which ones disappear, when 'panic' sets in.

Don't Panic is an effective tool for keeping prying eyes out of your affairs, and indeed I did panic, when things disappeared from my screen as I unintentionally hit the panic spot. But, practice will ensure this doesn't happen to you and anything that was hidden, I did manage to recover. However, don't rely on Don't Panic to render your illegal activities totally invisible, as the software can easily be detected on your PC.Note: You need to be using Internet Explorer as a browser to use this application.
