dtNotes is another application that lets you create electronic versions of sticky paper notes.

With it you can clear the clutter from your desktop and never forget about a note, thanks to built-in reminder functions.

dtNotes is different to other programs in that it displays a creation date at the bottom of each note (great for prioritising), and different categories of notes can be assigned different colours.

Default categories include Note, Task, ASAP and Meeting, but you can easily create your own to suit.

A scheduler allows you to assign a deadline to a note, or repeat at regular intervals. Activate an alarm and you will be reminded nearer the time; dtNotes can even launch a file as a reminder.
