There are times when managing people can be, well, rather overwhelming. It’s difficult to keep everyone happy. Someone might prefer to go on holiday during a period when it’s not applicable to your department. It can often lead to people wanting a holiday during the same time period, which is hard to balance. You could write everything down on a piece of paper, but how do you show your other employees how holidays, events and timekeeping is structured within your company?
One option is an online central database, or calendar, where each employee can access and even contribute. They could fill in their diary, events, meetings another arrangements, so that other employees know where they are located. At the same time, the company can use the calendar to track holidays and company-related events.
TOMMIE (total office management made incredibly easy) is an online system for tracking company and employee events. You can enable as many or as few people as possible, so they have access to this calendar. Even better, staff can use the system to fill in their expenses, manage contacts and share important information.
Note that TOMMIE is an online tool accessible from a PC, Mac or mobile device. You pay a subscription on a monthly basis, depending on how many people have access to the system.
