The latest version of Tiny Personal Firewall is suitable both for home users and small businesses.

With numerous improvements it is good value for money, and it doesn't take long to get to grips with, although the more advanced functions may find beginners struggling.

It protects against network attacks, worms, trojans and viruses, along with managing program access to computer resources (memory, files etc.).

Its 'Sandbox' technology ensures active content that infects your PC is restricted in its movements. You can decide what any file, dangerous or otherwise, can do on your PC.

New features include a stop all traffic command, password protection for the Admin Centre and the ability to move unknown suspicious processes into quarantine.

If set up correctly and updated frequently then it is unlikely anything will get past this software.
