MagicTweak 4.12

MagicTweak lets you personalise numerous Windows settings. Its simple interface provides an easy means to create a friendlier Windows environment.

Settings are split into two sections (Basic & Advanced), within which are different categories. Open the category you are interested in and check or uncheck the relevant boxes as required.

The Basic section lets you hide/remove desktop icons, hide/add items to the Start menu, disable boot processes, clear histories, hide drives, and disable Internet Explorer options.

The Advanced section lets you hide/display control panel icons, disable Windows functions (regedit, taskbar context menus etc), add/remove programs from Start Up, and hide items in the Program and Favourites menus.

Various info on applications can be found in the Process Info section, which also lets you force-quit frozen applications.

An add/remove feature lets you install/uninstall programs. Unlike the standard one in Windows, this allows old entries to be removed from the add/remove list.
