StartEd is a handy tool for managing those programs that have an annoying habit of launching at Startup. Some can be prevented from launching simply by changing the program's preferences, but others cannot. This is where StartEd comes in.

Run the program and you are presented with a detailed list of all programs launched during the start-up process, whether residing in the Registry, Startup folders or Win.ini file.

Entries can be removed easily, and it is also possible to add items should there be a particular program you want to run at start-up.

Another useful function is its ability to detect over 100 Trojan horses and display a warning message accordingly.
