Looking in the Startup folder in Windows won't always give you an insight into every single program that starts up when Windows does, as not every program set to launch will create a shortcut in this folder.
Startup Control Panel tells you exactly what software is set to load on Startup and allows you to alter these settings.
The different ways of launching programs at startup are listed as tabs on the program (i.e. Run Once, Run Always).
This program installs itself as an icon in the Control Panel so you can quickly find it as part of ordinary maintainance.
