Verdict

Although it has a rather lacklustre interface the program is ideal for those wanting a budget option.

This is a utility that lets you create thumbnails of images, convert images to another format and create web pages for viewing images.

Image formats that can be read are jpg, bmp, gif, ico, emf and tif, all of which can be converted into jpg, bmp, tif or emf (metafile).

Open the software and you have several options. Firstly you can work with one image alone or an entire folder of images. You then select a task from the following:

  • Create thumbnails / adjust image size
  • Convert to different image type
  • Image viewer
  • Make a web page of images
  • Make a web page of thumbnails.

To create thumbnails simply select the image(s) to convert, and use the on-screen slider to select a new image size. File data is displayed including new file size, dimensions etc.

Creating web pages is easy, and is a way of viewing your images without using a program. All references to images are on your local drive, so web pages cannot be used on websites without a little tinkering, but they are useful for personal viewing.

Purchase price: $29.95
