Changing or creating new settings on computers is part of the daily routine of every administrator. The O&O RegEditor is freeware that makes it significantly easier for administrators to work with the registration database.

The O&O RegEditor has an eminently user-friendly application, but it is the portability that makes the life of an administrator easier. Settings can be saved as favorites in the O&O RegEditor and then loaded onto a new computer using a USB Stick. Exported settings can be accessed from any computer.

A comprehensive range of standard features are available, all much quicker and more streamlined thanks to optimized accessibility and user-friendliness. For example, after a high-precision search, a list of results is displayed, with the corresponding key paths. In addition, searches no longer have those irritating confirmations of interim results.

O&O RegEditor is a component of O&O BlueCon 7, and one of its most powerful. O&O BlueCon 7 is the system restoration software from O&O. It delivers a whole range of programs to restore systems that won’t start, and is based on the current Windows PE for Vista. O&O BlueCon starts all programs directly from a CD included in delivery, neatly sidestepping the risk of data loss caused by writing data on the computer, possible during a new installation. Now, and for the first time independently of O&O BlueCon, entries in the registration database or user accounts can be conveniently created or changed.
