Ability Office has all the software you could need to replace Microsoft Office. As well as the essential word processor, spreadsheet and presentation software, there are also programs for creating photo albums, editing images, creating vector illustrations and databases. A new Launcher program appears in the Notification Area to give quick access to them.
Ability Write has everything you could require, including full support for table creation and support for common file types. Files can now be saved as PDF documents for full cross-compatibility.
Ability Database can handle large databases and comes with a component-based querying service for easy filtering of data. Ability Spreadsheet apes MS Excel very well and poses no problems for Excel users.
The Photo and Draw packages are very competent programs, with much more than you would expect for the price.
The latest Ability Office 5 ships with a brand new interface that is somewhat similar to Microsoft Office 2003.

Re-badged Open Office?
I suspect this is (another) re-badged version of OpenOffice with a new look. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

Niche market?
Why would you go with this office suite over the competition? Your article doesn't give any compelling reasons. MS Office is the industry standard. Openoffice is open source and free with a large amount of MS Office's capabilities. I don't see any advantage to this product over either of those two and would not rate it highly unless it did. PDFs do not provide "full cross-compatibility". They can be viewed on a number of platforms, but are uneditable by either this software or MS Office. That isn't really full cross-compatibility, even though it's very handy for exchanging documents for viewing.
