iTunes Companion

ITunes Companion searches for album cover art for your current iTunes track at amazon.com and downloads it to your hard drive.

The image is only downloaded once. The next time you play that track it finds the image on your hard drive. It searches for artwork in your iTunes Library before going to amazon.com.

You can scan the album cover yourself and drag and drop the image file over the widget if it can't be found at amazon.com. It has play/pause, back/rewind, next/fast forward, shuffle on/off, volume and rating controls plus customisable hotkeys.

A drawer shows tracks on current album, albums by current artist in your library or all artists in the library to choose from, i.e. all clickable.

It can also publish cover art and track info as an HTML page to a web server.
