The best opponents in any game are other people. Artificial Intelligence has yet to reach the point where it can recreate the unpredictability of a human opponent.

Fighter Ace gives you the opportunity to try out your dog fighting skills online, playing against real opponents. There are offline options as well for training and trying out the different aircraft.

The graphics are very good and there are some very impressive effects - when the pilot begins to black out during aerobatics, for example.

There are plenty of different aircraft to choose from, from numerous nationalities. The game itself is free but you will need to subscribe online to play against other people.
