Color Wheel Pro is a great utility for designers, whether for web or print, that lets you preview colour schemes on real examples.
You can choose between a website (business or kids), corporate ID package (including letterheads, business cards etc.), logos (with and without characters) and product packaging.
Launch the program and you are presented with a colour wheel on the left and your selected design on the right.
As you move the dial around the colour wheel your chosen design is altered to display the current colours in real time.
All the standard colour schemes are present: Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Split Complementary, Triadic and Tetradic.
Both lightness and contrast levels are adjustable, and Color Wheel supports both RGB and RYB colour wheel types.
There are functions to create your own free-form colour schemes and save for later reference, while a colour picker lets you view and select the hexadecimal/RGB values for any colour presented.
Purchase price: $39.95
