King Kong Screensaver

Lord of the Rings maestro Peter Jackson returns with his take on King Kong, the story of an ape captured from a remote island and accidentally let loose on the streets of New York.

The original 1933 film was a breakthrough in special effects and if the recent trailers are anything to go by, this year’s version looks set to do the same.

The screensaver shows good-quality stills from the film including an impressive shot of King Kong’s showdown with a T-Rex and, of course, the timeless Empire State building scene.

Although this is not exactly mind-blowing, the world Jackson has created certainly seems exciting, and this screensaver more than serves its purpose to that end.
