Wireless networks are fantastic, enabling easy access to an established network. However, as security is paramount, we’re advised to setup a network key so that only users who know the key can access your wireless network.
Fantastic…as long as you remember the key. That’s the problem. How do you remember your wireless network key unless you write the ‘secure’ key on a piece of paper? What happens when you can’t access your network and then your computer asks you to re-enter your wireless key to access your own network? It happens. If you can’t access your router, you can’t get the key.
WirelessKeyView is a simple tool that recovers all wireless network keys (WEP/WPA) stored in your computer by the 'Wireless Zero Configuration' service of Windows XP. It allows you to easily save all keys to text/html/xml file, or copy a single key to the clipboard.
