The SoBig.F virus made the news for spreading very quickly and causing many problems around the world.
The immediate chaos might be over but there are still copies about. Symantec has released a free tool to remove this virus if your computer was affected.
This utility removes the files created by the virus as well as all references to. Only computers running Windows 2000 or XP were attacked by the virus.
The Symantec site also has removal tools for many other viruses as well as instructions for removing them manually.
