SpamRemover is an intelligent spam filter that offers protection via referral to a list of spam words and through the learning approach.
The software works with most major email clients (Netscape/Mozilla, Firebird, Pegasus Mail, Eudora, Opera and Outlook/Outlook Express), and comes with a set-up wizard for convenience.
A basic list of words is already featured in the spam list on installation, and words can be added or removed from this list at will. Each word is assigned a percentage value by SpamRemover, and if the combined number of spam words in an email exceeds a value of 100 per cent, then the message is treated as spam.
Use the learning approach and results will be even more effective. This involves marking each received email as either Spam or Not Spam, until SpamRemover knows enough to make educated guesses.
Select various security levels from Very Low to Very High.
You can set up lists of friends and blocked senders, which will be used to automatically sort emails, with blocked senders treated as Spam, and friends being allowed through to your inbox.
