Romeo Burner Lite

Modern media suites, that attempt to cover all media bases, often do more harm than good. As someone who has to burn many types of disc media, these media suites spend less emphasis on producing and managing your audio CDs and more time on managing and producing photo slideshows or a home movie. Fine, but then if we wanted a tool to professional manage our photos, we’d buy a dedicated tool. Media suites should go back to doing what they do best, authoring management.

As the market is dominated by two or three media suites, there are a number of up-and-coming free disc burning suites that concentrate on producing the best possible audio, data and video discs. No tricky menus or interfaces to wade through to burn your audio disc, you just grab your audio, set up your playlist and then burn.

Romeo Burner is another disc burning tool that will do everything from extracting audio from your CDs through to burning your own DVD video master. There are two editions, a free Lite version, which is available to download here, and a commercial version with additional features.
