Wherever you may travel in the world, it's more than likely that WorldMate will be able to help you in one way or another. Designed to make travelling as easy as possible, it comes complete with five programs: a world time zone clock, a size comparison for clothes, a currency converter, conversion tables and an international telephone directory.

The clock function allows you to display four world times, as well as UK time and Swatch's internet time, on-screen simultaneously. You can display times for the cities of your choice, and if a location isn't already in the WorldMate database you can simply enter it manually.

The clothes size comparison tool is great for when shopping abroad, allowing you to instantly compare European and American sizes with those of the UK. Obviously this is only a rough guide, but at least you will have some idea of what you are buying!

The currency converter is probably the most useful tool, as we all know what a nightmare it can be to convert from one currency to another. Well, use WorldMate and save your brain for more appealing tasks. With 29 currencies available, and the ability to enter other currencies not included, you will never be unsure of the cost of anything abroad again. Exchange rates change daily and WorldMate lets you manually edit these rates to ensure that calculations are accurate.

The conversion tables are exactly what they say. Want to know how many feet in 100 metres, or how many pounds in a kilogram? WorldMate knows the answers. With conversion for weights, speeds, volumes, temperatures, lengths, distances and areas, you can shop confidently abroad. This is handy in everyday life too.

Finally, the international telephone directory provides you with the dialling codes for the World, USA and Canada in a drop down menu. Simple yet effective.
