Adobe Audition

Audition is an advanced audio tool that was once part of Adobe's Creative Suite and now remains as a professional standard tool, which has contains tools for musicians, recording and sound engineers.

Some of the improvements have been inherited from Adobe's own Soundbooth, while others are direct improvements to the software such as the new effects. New reverb, delay, compression and time-stretch tools have been added to make a more professional package.

Adobe Audition also enables industry standard VSTI virtual instruments, with full midi support. Like Photoshop some of the tools may familiar, direct drag-and-drop, effects paintbrush and a spot healing brush.

Although Audition is not a complete re-evaluation or re-design of the package, it has a large number of improvements, and enhanced overall performance from the much improved tools.

This is the latest version of Adobe's audio production tool, enabling you to perform all aspects of production such as recording, editing, mastering and mixing.
