Verdict

It's not up to the standard of Championship Manager but, if you fancy participating in your own World Cup tournament, give it a go.

Select one of 64 teams (including England of course!) and see if you can guide it to the final of the World Cup and, hopefully, to the winner's medal.

Everything is based on the real tournament, including squads, groups, and draws. Should anything change regarding any of these factors an update will be made available from the website (see above).

It's your job to manage your team, including training the players to the best of their abilities, deciding who does which jobs on the team, instructing players on their game formations, and much more.

Every match can be followed, and highlights are displayed on-screen. Full statistics are available for each match and the tournament so far and, should you be so inclined, all the elements can be altered via the built-in editor.
