Handy Backup 4.0

PCs may well be more stable today than ever before, but backing up important data is still essential. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Handy Backup provides an extremely easy way of backing up data, whether on a one-off basis or at regular intervals.

Wizards are on hand to make things easy, with numerous prompts guiding you through the process. Simply browse for the files/folders you wish to include in the back-up, select the storage location and everything is ready.

Back-ups can be stored locally on any media, including floppy disk, hard drive, CD and Zip disk, or on a remote server via FTP. Use CDs and data can be spanned across multiple discs.

Zip compression can be applied to backups, either as one large file or multiple smaller files. If security is an issue the 128-bit Blowfish encryption algorithm can be used to safeguard your data.

Individual back-ups can be performed once or scheduled to take place daily, on weekdays, monthly, or at any custom interval you wish.

Timestamp capabilities mean that multiple archives can be stored.

Version 4.0 integrates the plugins for MS Outlook, ICQ and Registry data that were previously available separately. These aid the quick back-up of relevant data.
